Hello Film Fans and Fanatics!!!
We have a couple of heavy hitters this week with Bobby and Volver. I am surprized to see that Volver is in limited release, I though an Almodóvar film would be on more screens. It will be on my list to see for sure, just as The History Boys is - I just can't resist inspirational teacher flicks. Add to that it's British and based on a play, I'm so hooked. For those looking for a tone, or should I say tune? check out Jack Black and Kyle Gass in Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny.
The rational behind our mid-week releases last week has now become clear... It was US Thanksgiving on the 23rd. Happy Turkey Day to those celebrating, have a good long weekend.
Have a great weekend!!
Shannon

I really wanted to see The Fountain this weekend but we're going to Vancouver. That's my top pick. I heard amazing things about Volver, I definitely want to see that too. Getting R to go may be a bit of a challenge though.
