Hello Film Fans and Fanatics!!!
Many highly anticipated films in release this week! The biggest is arguable Casino Royale where we will finally get to decide for ourselves if Daniel Craig lives up to the shoes of Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan as the new 007. We also have Christopher Guest's latest with For Your Consideration, let's see if this one goes to 11. The one film I just can't figure out is Fast Food Nation. It's based on a non-fiction book but the film has actors playing characters. I just don't get it. It doesn't appear to be a documentary. Maybe it needs to be seen to be understood but after watching the preview its clear that you don't want to eat out before going.
A special limited release of the 1973 Canadian film Paperback Hero will be showing at the Carlton for one week only! I know I'm going to try to make it!
It has been a while since we've had some mid-week releases but this week (or next depending on your point of view) we have three opening on Wednesday November 22: Déjà Vu, The Fountain and Deck the Halls our 2nd Christmas film! 'Tis the season to get all excited before it's here I guess!
